Rotating Equipment Specialist
Join our growing Electromechanical Field Service Group as a Rotating Equipment Specialist. You will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and quality repairs to building and industrial HVAC, pumps and motors located throughout Manitoba. Includes being responsible for predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electric motors and associated equipment. Involves performing vibration analysis, balancing, Pdma testing and miscellaneous electric motor services. Ideal candidates would have a CET designation.
Duties include the following:
- Using predictive measurement test equipment, evaluate and report on various rotating equipment
- Perform balancing of various size rotating apparatus
- Troubleshoot various mechanical and electrical problems
- Perform regular scheduled service maintenance testing to CSA and NEMA standards
- Travel by service vehicle and by airplane may be required
- Strictly follow safe work practices and procedures including LOTOTO
- Provide assistance to other trades within the B+B Dynamo group, as required
- Must have flexibility to work in a busy 24/7 service environment
Required Qualifications include:
- Drivers license required for company service vehicles
- Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams and specifications on a variety of equipment
- Post secondary education in an mechanical field of study
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and work within a team environment
- Good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and willing to continual learning process
- Computer skills to complete documentation and research
- CMVA designation and experience with electric motors would be an asset
- Class M Electrical License or working towards the license would be an asset

Bring your know-how and years of experience to our well-established, busy industrial services centre in Winnipeg. You are skilled in rewinding a wide variety of products, including DC, AC medium voltage and specialty motors. Journeyman recognition would be an asset but not required. Skills include excellent communications, positive team player, believe in continual learning & improvement, customer-oriented, productive, flexible and willing to work overtime when needed. Company specializes in quality repair, rebuild & overhaul services for industry. ISO-9001 & CSA certified. Benefits include dental & profit sharing.
